NRA Basic Rifle class:
A basic introductory class to rifle shooting. This class teaches the basics of shooting fundamentals and shooting positions. All the training you need to start learning how to properly handle and shoot a rifle. (Like us on Facebook for notices of upcoming classes.)
NRA Personal Protection in the Home:
Course goal: To develop in the students the basic knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a firearm for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self-defense.
This is an 8 hour class that includes both classroom and range exercises. This is not a basic pistol class and students are expected to have a good skill set regarding the safe handling of pistols and basic handgun shooting skills. In the class we will be discussing the use of firearm in a responsible and ethical manner, developing the proper mindset for self-defense and the pistol skills required. We will also be discussing the specifics of Massachusetts law regarding self defense in the home, this lesson will be presented by an attorney who is also a police officer.
Finally we will go out on the range and develop skills including using a flash sight picture, proper use of cover and concealment, firing from different positions and more. If you are serious about preparing yourself properly to keep a gun in your home for the purpose of self defense this class is a must. (Like us on Facebook for notices of upcoming classes.)
NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home:
The goal of this program is to develop in students the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective, responsible, and ethical use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.
This is a 2 day (14 hour) class that is comprehensive in nature. The course material covers concealed carry, the defensive mindset, and avoidance and awareness techniques. We will also be discussing the specifics of the legal aspects of concealed carry and self-defense, this lesson will be presented by an attorney who is also a police officer. On the range we will be skill building covering concealed carry, presenting from concealment, shooting positions and movement. We will also cover topics such as choice of firearms and holster and carry techniques. This is not a basic pistol class and students are expected to have a good skill set regarding the safe handling of pistols and basic handgun shooting skills. Individual Coaching:
Private: $100 per hour (2 hour minimum)
