Basic Firearms Safety Class:
This is a 4 hour certificate gun safety class which is the prerequisite for applying for a Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms (LTC). This handgun safety course is Massachusetts approved and does not include any range time so it can be taught completely in a classroom or in your home. Students will have the opportunity to learn hands-on safe handling of firearms. Upon successful completion you will receive a state certificate to be submitted with your firearms license application. This class is the best option for those of you who are experienced with guns but are required to take the class to be eligible to apply for your license.
It is also a great option for those who want to be familiar with firearms and be able to handle them safely in a home environment. Many of my students are family members of gun owners who may not have any desire to shoot but want to be able to safely handle the guns that are present in their home.

Currently I teach both versions. Please check my class schedule for dates and availability.
The access for the NRA class information is on the NRA website, http://www.nrainstructors.org/home.aspx.
